‘Real News From The Blaze:’ Has Border Violence Become Accepted?

While immigration is always a hot campaign issue, less focus is given to the continued, bloody war on our border with Mexico. On Monday, Glenn Beck slammed the Democratic machine for participating in domestic race-driven tactics while showing little concern for the no less than 49 mutilated, decapitated bodies that were recently dumped on a highway connecting the northern Mexican town of Monterrey to the U.S. border.

The U.S. and Mexico have tried an agreement, the Merida Initiative, which the State Dept describes as an unprecedented partnership with Mexico to fight organized crime and associated violence while furthering respect for human rights and the rule of law, but few positive results are evident.

On “Real News” Tuesday the panel discussed possible strategy to deal the border security problem and questioned, with frustration, why the American electorate does not appear more alarmed by the dangers south of the border.
