Four Illegal Aliens Arrested, 236 Pounds of Marijuana Seized Near Gila Bend

Arpaio States “Crackdown Continues Against Illegal Aliens Involved in International Drug Trafficking”
(Maricopa County, AZ) Maricopa County Sheriff’s etectives on Friday located a group of seven illegal aliens carrying 236 pounds of marijuana in the desert just south of Gila Bend, off State Route 85. Four illegal aliens were arrested including a 17 year old.
Sheriff’s Drug Suppression Task Force detectives gathered information about a large group gathering in the desert just south of Gila Bend. When detectives approached the group, two suspects ran into the desert heading south. Detectives completed a search of the desert area and were unable to locate the two runners.
As detectives were processing the scene, a man in a pickup truck pulled over near the group, honked his horn and drove away quickly. He was stopped a short while later by deputies and admitted that he was paid $500.00 to pick up the group.
During an interview with Sheriff’s detectives the group of illegal aliens admitted that they were being paid $200 each to carry the marijuana from the border.
A total of five males, which include four illegal aliens and one U.S. Citizen, were arrested and booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on drug related charges.
Arpaio states that during the past 3 days, Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 6 Illegal Aliens with seizures of 50 pounds of methamphetamine, worth 1.5 million dollars and 236 pounds of marijuana during two separate investigations.

If I were president today, tomorrow I would direct federal law enforcement, US military forces and federal agencies to cooperate in the identification of illegal aliens.( The minute someone enters the USA without documents, that person becomes a Criminal.) Then, I would direct Federal Agents to woirk with all State guard units, police and highway patrol to round up anyone who does not have entry documents. Once illegals are identified, I would immediately deport them with a warning NOT TO GET CAUGHT IN THE USA AGAIN WITHOUT ENTRY DOCUMENTS. Because I think that the MExican government aids and abets illegal entry into the USA, I would demand that Mexico pay one barrell of Crude for every Mexican caought in the USA without immigration papers and then I would deport the illegal alien. I would also direct the FBI to arrest all U.S. Citizens or legal residents who knowingly hire illegal aliens.When foreign owned companies doing business in the USA get caught hiring illegal aliens, I would direct the FBI to treat them the same us US Citizens who hire illegal alien employees. That is my opinion and while not everyone will agree with me; while turth is always in the eyes of the beholder, it still remains my opinion. db
