U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers say an elderly man tried to smuggle more than 10 pounds of cocaine into the U.S. this weekend.
According to a CBP release, the 70-year-old Matamoros man drove across the Gateway International Bridge on Saturday in a white 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier.
During a secondary inspection, CBP officers say they discovered four packages hidden within the sedan. Officers say the bundles contained 10.5 pounds of cocaine valued at $336,000.
The man was turned over to U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents for further investigation. CBP officers seized the narcotics and the vehicle.

Why do we have thousands of military guarding borders between North and South Korea? They should be guarding our boarders between Mexico and Texas and Arizona and California. I work and I am damn tired of supporting illegals in this country.
