Fire Occurred In Remote Area Near Otay Mesa Called Tin Can Canyon
SAN DIEGO — A brush fire in a remote area straddling the U.S.-Mexico border was held to 30 acres on Sunday, Cal Fire said.
The fire broke out about 8:20 p.m. Saturday in an inaccessible area near Otay Mesa called Tin Can Canyon, and crews monitored the blaze throughout the night, Cal Fire said.
The fire’s forward spread was stopped and the blaze was being held to 25 acres in the United States and five acres in Mexico, said Capt. Mike Mohler of Cal Fire.Mohler said hand crews and engines were working to control the blaze and would likely remain there the remainder of the day.No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Mohler said.

I was going to suggest we cut down the brush so they have no place to hide……..then put some alligators in the river!!!

Need to let it burn, let it spread south so will eliminate areas for illegals to hide. Then maybe burn both east and west to eliminate a lot of brush all along borders. Yes, then put alligators in the river so when they try to cross, they will have to go back and have no other way.
