Immigrants busted trying to board SA bound flight

Group crossed Rio Grande illegally, dropped off at McAllen airport
SAN ANTONIO – A group of five illegal immigrants were detained by Homeland Security and Border Patrol agents after an they attempted to board a charter flight bound for San Antonio.
The Monitor reported agents were doing a routine inspection at McAllen-Miller International Airport when they stopped the group on the ramp Wednesday afternoon.
The group told the agents they crossed the Rio Grande into the United States a few days before and were kept at a stash house
Court documents showed a man named Jorge Luis Gallegos picked up the group, drove them to the airport and bought the private charter to San Antonio.
The Monitor reported Gallegos was arrested on human smuggling charges.
