Homeowner: Home Invaders Sounded Drunk
June 15th 2012 · 2 Comments
MISSION – Hidalgo County sheriff’s deputies are looking for five people who broke into a Mission home. Investigators suspect it was most likely a case of mistaken identity.
Jose Montalvo said the group held his entire family at gunpoint and demanded marijuana. It happened earlier this month. He told the gunmen he didn’t have any drugs. Montalvo suspects the group wasn’t professional. He said they sounded drunk and ignored family-owned guns and his son’s Border Patrol uniforms.
The gunmen only stole a TV and some jewelry before leaving.
