Bodies of suspected immigrants found in AZ desert

June 26th 2012   ·   23 Comments

TUCSON — Border Patrol agents say the bodies of three suspected illegal immigrants have been recovered in southern Arizona.

Authorities say the three likely died from exposure to the triple-digit desert temperatures. Agents say the three victims were found in separate incidents Saturday.

Casa Grande Station agents working near Sells located a pregnant female sitting with her deceased husband. The Guatemalan couple had crossed the border two days earlier and had been abandoned by their smuggler when the husband collapsed.

Later in the day, agents from the Tucson Sector located the remains of a man near Queens Well who appeared to be in his 70s.

Ajo Station agents on Saturday night located another deceased man northwest of Lukeville. The man in his 30s was naked in an apparent attempt to cool down.

TX has had quite a few incidents of dead bodies of illegals…..from heat and dehydration. Coyotes will also get a truckload across the border, then abandon it in the desert…these people may have been severals days without food and a day or 2 without water already. The TX boder patrol has set up “mercy stations” with life-saving drinking water, but the illegals are shy because they WILL be sent back

  5. True, but Arizona had a law in place till some piece of shit decided he didn’t like it and caused all kind of trouble over it. If that law was in place they would be less likely to come through AZ and there for there would probably not be any bodies. And they aught to be sent back!

  6. Correction: Illegal immigrants.
